Applications for all awards must include the following:

Executive Summary

A clear summary of the application as relevant to the specific category (max. 500 words)

Supporting Information

Clear, information and explanation supporting the application as relevant to the specific category and judging criteria (max. 2,000 words)

Evidence

Any relevant supporting evidence, can include testimonials, images, videos, data etc. (max. 5 A4 pages)

 

Once your application is received via email a member of the Tomorrow team will contact you to confirm your details and issue an invoice. Fees for applications are:

  • Individual Awards: $250AUD
  • Company Awards: $750AUD

All entry applications received will be reviewed by the nominated  judging panel, who will make a short-list of candidates for each category. The judging panel reserve the right to make independent investigations in the strictest confidence. From the short-listed candidates, one winner will be chosen in each award category.

 

The decisions of the judging panel will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Applications will be received in the strictest confidence and the names of nominees, other than the short-listed candidates and the winners, will not be released.

FAQs

Can my organisation submit an application for more than one category?

Yes. An organisation can apply for any amount of categories. There will be an individual application fee per category.

 

I am not sure which category we should we enter in. What do I do?

Contact our Tomorrow team if you are unsure which category to enter. We can provide a recommendation and answer any questions.

 

When and how will the award winners be announced?

The winners will be announced on our website and social media pages and will be shared by our media partners. There will also be an in-person award presentation arranged on behalf on the Tomorrow Awards judges and the winning organisation.

 

Will there be second or third place winners for each category?

There will only a be a first place winner announced for each category. The judges do have a number of ‘Highly Commended’ awards that will be announced across all categories. These are for stand-out applications that do not come in first place in their category.

 

How much does it cost to submit an application?

An individual award application is $250AUD. An organisation award application is $750AUD. Once your application has been received via email an invoice will be issued for the application fee.

ELIGIBILITY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Awards are open to all organisations and registered businesses operating in Australia with an ABN (Organisation).

The Organisation must have a minimum annual revenue over $50M AUD

Entries in multiple categories will be accepted, a separate entry application is required for every category entered.

The ‘Change Leader of the Year Award’ is an individual award. All applicants must be Australian residents.

The ‘Emerging Change Leader of the Year Award’ is an individual award., All applicants must be Australian residents aged 35 years or under on the date of application.

To be eligible, the work/program/initiative entered into the Awards must have been at least partially live between the specified dates. Speculative work or incomplete work is not eligible to be considered for the Awards.

Submission of an application indicates acceptance of the Eligibility Criteria and Terms and Conditions.

Entries must be received by us between the specified entry dates.

An entrant cannot apply for any award category for which an employee, director or board member in the case of an Organisation or a spouse or child of the entrant is a judge in that same category. Any entries which are submitted in contravention of this condition will be rejected and not considered for the Awards.

Changes cannot be made to any applications once they have been submitted. We are under no obligation to provide any feedback on an entry.

By submitting an application you agree for your organisation to be part of any promotion or publicity relating to the Awards. You agree that we may use your name, logo and/or business details in any way to promote the Awards or our sponsors. If we do use your name, logo and/or business details, you grant us a royalty free, irrevocable licence to use that material for such promotional and publicity purposes as we may at our discretion determine.

We have the right to disregard any incomplete applications and have no obligation to notify you that an application is incomplete or does not otherwise comply with the conditions of entry.

We reserve the right to vet and substantiate information contained in the applications and conduct any corporate due diligence as we in our sole discretion may require. You will provide us with any additional information that we request from you in relation to same in a timely and cooperative manner.

Your submission of an entry to the Awards will not create any legal obligations between you and us other than as may be contained herein.

We reserve the right to cancel the program or individual award categories within the program at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered relating to or in any way connected with the Awards. You will indemnify us and our officers, employees or agents against any loss or liability from any claim or action that arises as a result of a breach of these terms by you. The Brand Institute reserves the right to cancel or disqualify applications as a result of non-compliance with the Eligibility Criteria and Terms and Conditions or any conduct which we, in our absolute unfettered discretion, believe has or may jeopardise the proper conduct of the Awards or to bring the Awards, us and/or any sponsor of the Awards into disrepute .

We reserve the right to change the program timeline including the Awards announcement date.

You agree that if you win an award, you will participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Awards, including without limitation by making yourself available to accept the award and being interviewed or photographed. We reserve the right to use any such photographs or comments from you together with your name for marketing and/or publicity purposes and you will not be entitled to any compensation or payment resulting from such use.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

No right of appeal will arise from the judges’ decision.

 

In these terms and conditions:

“Us” or “we” means The Brand Institute Pty Ltd

“You” or “your” means any organisation, business or individual which submits an entry into any category of the Awards.

Awards means the Australian Corporate Citizenship ‘Tomorrow’ Awards and any subcategory of award forming part of same.
